  • Article Notes:
    • Do we need to put the Autoversion at the top of this article?
      • Devon 10/10/2025: Completed
    • Is there a Project and Batch that can be downloaded and used to follow along with the instructions? I don't see the box that contains the downloads on the article.
      • Devon 10/10/2025: Personally, I didn't think there needed to be one as this is all end-user focused. I can speak with Dylan about adding a Batch, but I don't feel like a Project is necessary, because an end-user will normally never see the Design Page. And it feels odd to juts have a Batch by itself. I could be wrong, I will update this response.
    • I would capitalize things like "Batch" and "Document Type" since they are node types in Grooper.
      • Devon 10/9/2025: Completed
    • Is there someplace that explains how to open a Batch for Review? Is there another article? If so, I would link to that article in your instructions on how to open the Batch for review.
      • Devon 10/9/2025: Fleshed out the "Accessing the Folder Viewer" section. Thinking a brief Supademo would go well with the block of text. Planning to add that once all other edits are complete
    • In the How To portion of the article there is a lot of information on what can be done, but not a lot of step-by-step instructions on how to do the things. Is that located on another article? If it is, I would provide a link to that other article.
      • Devon 1010/2025: Did an overhaul of the How To section, adding a Fixing Folder Errors subsection, and discussed two of the main issues that users will run into: overly separated Documents and under-separated Documents. Basically, presented a scenario where one would either need to append or split folders, then listed instructions on how to do so. Supademo for each incoming. Also added a subsection on merging items.
    • I'm guessing that articles for the other "Related Views" have not been created yet. When they're created, I would include a link to those. Will you have another article for the Classification View? It's not listed as a "Related View".
      • Devon 10/10/2025: Added the rest of the Viewers to the Related Views section. To answer your question, Reanna, yes. I will make an article for the Classification Viewer in the future, and link it once said article is up.
  • Supademo notes:
    • The fourth slide in the supademo is missing the back and forward arrows.
    • On the fourth supademo slide, I would change the wording a little bit to "... the Pages are at Level 2" instead of documents, because a document can contain multiple pages and here you are specifically talking about Page objects.
    • The supademo is a little long, I would break it up into smaller parts.
    • I don't see the step-by-step instructions from the supademo in the article anywhere in text. If my understanding is correct, before the Supademo embedded in the article, we're supposed to actually type out the step by step instructions.
      • Devon 1010/2025: Gonna hit all three of these at once, since they all fall under the same category. Long story short, I plan to do individual Supademos for each of the How To subsections. This way, they're right front and center, they're relevant, and no one has to scroll to the bottom of the article, nor do any unnecessary clicking past information they're not concerned with.

Randall 10/08/2025

  • The title of the article needs title casing and a prenthesis grouping
  • Does "Accessing the Folder Viewer" need a demo?
    • Devon 10/13/2025: I think it does. I mentioned this in my response to Reanna's edit, but I do plan on adding a Supademo for that section.
  • Does "Performing Actions" need a screenshot or a demo to show what the context menu is?
    • Devon 10/13/2025: I went ahead and redid the Performing Actions section, changing its name ti Fixing Folder Errors, and added three subsections that detail three common actions users can perform during review in the Folder Viewer: Append Folders, Split Folder, and Merging. Supademos are incoming for each subsection.
  • Seems like "Customizing the Review Experience" needs more detail and a demo.
    • Devon 10/13/2025: Took out that section and instead put a "Completing the Review" section in its place. Not sure if a Supademo is necessary, may just have a screenshot. What do you guys think?
      • Dylan 10/15/2025: Would the supademo just end up being a single slide? Then, yes, just make a single screenshot. Although I'm not sure this responds to Randall's note. "Customizing the Review Experience" and "Completing the Review Experience" sound like two different things.

  • Use sentence case for section headings, not title case.
  • The title of this article still needs to change. It's capitalized incorrectly. It could also have its Grooper type. Should this be "Folder Viewer (UI Element)" or "Folder Viewer (Task View)" or "Folder Viewer (Review Tab)"? Which one you choose probably warrants a discussion.
    • Devon 10/16/2025: Fixed the title. It now reads, "Folder Viewer (UI Element)"
  • I like the re-do of the "Fixing Foldering Errors" section. But it needs supademos/screenshots.
  • There is no Grooper object type called "Document". It doesn't need to be capitalized.
  • Check for redundancy in your step lists. Ex: "1. First, navigate to the Batches page in Grooper."
  • Check for incomplete information in your step lists. Ex: "5. Upon opening the Batch, the screen is divided into two halves: the Document Viewer on the right, and the Folder Viewer on the left." You go on to briefly describe the Folder Viewer is, but not the Document Viewer.
  • Also, what you're calling the "Folder Viewer" here is technically a Grooper control called a "Tree Viewer". I can see how a user could get confused here. Does the Folder Viewer have a Folder Viewer and a Document Viewer? Does it contain itself? Or would it be less confusing to say a Folder Viewer has a Tree Viewer and a Document Viewer? To make matters more complicated, the "Tree Viewer" is sometimes called a "Batch Viewer" in the help documentation. This probably warrants a discussion.
