The Tasks Page in Grooper displays work items assigned to users, such as review steps requiring manual interaction. It serves as a personalized workspace where users can quickly access and complete pending workflow tasks.

Introduction

The Tasks Page of Grooper is a user-focused interface designed to streamline human attended processing. Rather than navigating through Batches manually, users are presented with a consolidated list of tasks generated by workflow activities that require review, validation, correction, or approval.

Tasks are created by processing Review activities, which consist of different view types:

  • Classification View
  • Data View
  • Fiche Strip View
  • Folder View
  • Scan View
  • Separation View
  • Thumbnail View

From the Tasks Page, users can:

  • View tasks assigned specifically to them (or to Review Queues they belong to).
  • See task metadata such as batch name, document name, workflow step, and status.
  • Open tasks directly into the appropriate review interface.
  • Complete, submit, or release tasks depending on permissions and configuration.

This page improves efficiency by removing the need to search for work inside the Batches Page. It supports role-based processing and distributed teams by routing work to the correct users based on queue configuration. In larger environments, the Tasks Page becomes the primary interface for production staff who are responsible for reviewing and validating results of a Grooper model.
