You can't understand what a CMIS Repository is without understanding what a CMIS Connection is.

A CMIS Connection is the Grooper object that connects Grooper to external storage platforms.

  • Like the Windows file system, or Box cloud storage platform, or an Outlook email account.

Once connected with a CMIS Connection, Grooper can access content in the storage platform using a CMIS Repository. The CMIS Repository is the Grooper object that represents a particular repository in the storage platform.

  • Like a folder in the Windows file system, or a folder in a Box account, or an Outlook inbox.
