EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files allow business to transmit information digitally that they would have normally communicated using paper documents. Grooper offers a number of features to easily process EDI files.

You may download the ZIP(s) below and upload it into your own Grooper environment (version 2023.1). The first contains a Project with several Content Models used as examples throughout this article. The second contains some example Batches of sample documents.

This article instructs users about features designed to process EDI files. Grooper can do the the following things with EDI files:

  • Create a Data Model from an EDI standard using Grooper's Schema Importer.
  • Collect data from an EDI file using the "EDI File - Load Data" command.
