Talk:Thumbnail Viewer (UI Element)

- Words such as Batch and Page (when referring to the Grooper objects) need capitalized. I would also capitalize the names of Activities.
- There are a couple of links to a "Batch Pages" Wiki page. I don't think we're going to have an article called "Batch Pages". Do you want to change that to the "Batch" article or just take out the link?
- I would include some kind of visual aid/screenshot for the Thumbnail Grid, Context Menu, and Toolbar Buttons to make it easier to visualize and understand.
- Randall Kinard 10/15/2025 - I second this idea. I think simple screenshots with highlights over the topic would suffice.
- In the step by step instructions for "Reviewing the Thumbnail Viewer" I would include something about what to do when all pages are reviewed and organization is complete. What do you click then to complete the review?
- In the FYI box, what does "flag pages" do? Where would someone go to find that out? Why would someone want to flag a page? What is Image Cleanup? How is that applied? Where can we go to find that out?
- After going through the Supademo, I see that some of this information is in the Supademo. I would include this information in text as well.
- Supademo Notes:
- You have some good info here that is not anywhere else in the article, such as when you might use a Thumbnail Viewer or what each sort method does such as intensity. I try to write my articles where someone can get most of the information from either reading the article or looking at the Supademo. So if someone doesn't want to go through the Supademo, they still have access to the information.
- How do we get to the Thumbnail Viewer? When would we see this?
- First thumbnail "Commonly used whenever to view the results" I think this might be a mistake in the AI voiceover.
- Several Thumbnails do not have arrows on the callouts.
- I would capitalize "Page" and "Pages" when talking about the objects.
- Randall Kinard 10/15/2025 - I personally would be consistant with naming. Refer to it as Batch Page(s) if it's talking about that specific node. "Page" is vague, and I don't think requires capitalization as it is not a node type, so, again, I'd probably just always use the node type name "Batch Page".
- So, for doing right-click, I use the circle to show on what object or property to right-click on. Then when the fly-out menu shows up, I actually use the custom area option to show which option on the fly-out menu to select.
- Typo on rotating the page: "youwouold".
- The shift+click and rotate thumbnail is a little confusing both in the wording on the call out and the AI voiceover.

- As far as I know, every article has a parenthesis "sub-title" after the title like "Data Type (Node Type)". Should this get the (UI Element) sub-title?
- In the Command Buttons section I'm not particularly a fan of the images of the buttons isolated like this. I have always leaned toward full screenshots as I have been through a lot of tutorials and guides of software and have always thought "where is this button!?!?!" in the context of the full UI.
- The Supademo in the Command Buttons section doesn't show how to get to the Thumbnail Viewer. If something existed before this Supademo that showed how to get to the Thumbnail viewer, that would be fine, but if this is to be the only Supademo in the article, I feel like it needs instructions on how to get to the Thumbnail viewer.
