Talk:Label Sets (Functionality)

- It might be worth noting that "Label Sets" is a colloquial term, or something. It's a way of referring to the grouping of the Labeling Behavior and its subsequent uses. There's no object or property in Grooper called "Label Sets".
- "Label Set" is technically not a colloquial term. There is an object in Grooper called Label Set https://help.grooper.com/v2025/help?typeName=Grooper.Extract.LabelSet. Also, as it pertains to licensing this functionality is called Label Set.

- In the What are Label Sets? section, it says "Label Sets are managed using the "Labels" tab on the Design Page for any Content Type with Labeling Behavior enabled." I think when referring to a UI element like this, something like a screenshot highlighting what is mentioned is helpful.

- In the What are Label Sets? section, Data Field is linked to twice. While I don't think this is "bad", I don't think we need to link to something each time it is mentioned, just the first.

- Only thing I can think to add on to this is the "For more details, see the linked articles" line can be moved to the How To Guides section. In my opinion, it would flow better, kind of a text set-up thing.

- I'm torn here. This article is a little thin. But it some ways it probably should be. It serves as an overview and landing page for more in-depth information on how Label Sets are used. And it's doing that. But I think something is missing. What about a supademo/screenshots that overviews what label sets are?
- Reanna Patton 10/16/2025 As I'm developing the other articles, I'm finding things that I might need to add to this one. It will then include some supademos and screenshots for sure.
- This article has broken links in the "How to guides" section. Ensure those links are resolved with the corresponding articles are made.
- Reanna Patton 10/16/2025 Added "(Work In Progress)" to the end of the broken links.

- In the What are Label Sets? there is now a screenshot, which is good. However, the box pointing to the Behaviors property is covering up the Node Tree, which obscures the selection of the Content Model. To that end, I think moving the aforementioned box to the right of the property would be prudent. You could then put a box around the Content Model in the Node Tree, or a box and a pointer; with the pointer saying something like "Select a Content Model", or whatever.
- The How to collect labels section feels a little sparse. I know this wouldn't be a full blown "how to", cause that's done in other articles, but the information seems lacking, or maybe slightly confusing. It might could use something like:
- "Labels are defined on the 'Labels' tab of a Content Type with a Labeling Behavior. While on the Labels tab, in order to see and define lables, two things must be true:
- A Batch Folder must be selecte in the Batch Viewer that is classified as the current Content Type using the Labeling Behavior.
- Data Elements that require labels must be using a 'Labelset Aware' Value Extractor."
- "Labels are defined on the 'Labels' tab of a Content Type with a Labeling Behavior. While on the Labels tab, in order to see and define lables, two things must be true:
- Be sure when giving instructions about assigning Document Types to Batch Folders in the Labels tab that the assigned Document Type must match that of the Content Type you currently have selected and are on the Labels tab for.
