"Capture Device" is the Grooper class of objects that provide connectivity and control for hardware scanners.

The current Capture Device offerings in Grooper are:

Most common

• ISIS Device
• TWAIN Device

Less common

• ColorTrac Scanner

Only suitable for testing and demonstrations

• Import Device
• In production environments, users should use File System Import or CMIS Import (pointing to an NTFS) repository to import from a file system.
